Space travel is tourism in space. Space tourism is defined as buying a boardpass to travel into space just like going to Peru or to a Safari! It is a new exotic adventure for discoverer wannabees.

Space travel. Myth or reality ?
For so many people, space travel is a dream. To this day, human beings still dream or visualize floating in space or making footprints on moon dust. Millions of human beings witnessed the passion of July 1969’s space journey with Neil Armstrong’s famous words… "That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." The Apollo II generation created the desire for space travel and as conquest for space travel continued, this threshold that we thought was reserved for the Yuri Gagarines of this world is readily accessible for anyone who dares to go beyond the dream.

Space travel is a reality but will need some time to get airborne. The birth of it is still a prize selection of only a few. About 50 years ago, the cost of a Paris-New-York crossing equaled years of an average income. Compared to now, almost anyone can afford it at much lower rates. It will be the same with space travel: operation costs will go down. However, space tourism will always be expensive. Between 2010 and 2020, such trip is estimated to be about $10,000.00. The market for this luxury tourist activity already exists: safaris, climbing of the Everest and more… You will have to be in good physical shape and in good health but there are no major setbacks and everyone will be able to leave for space one day. Space travel is in full swing and gaining in popularity!
